Marijuana, also commonly known as weed, cannabis, pot, ganja and Mary Jane, is a greenish-gray mixture of the dried flowers of Cannabis sativa.
Marijuana is used both for personal consumption and medical usage. For recreational use, there are many different ways available for people to consume marijuana including hand-rolled cigarettes called joints, glass bongs, bubblers, and water pipes. For medical purposes, it is frequently used in different types of medicines, and it can also be mixed inedibles such as brownies, cookies or candies.
As far as the legality of marijuana is concerned, different countries have different laws both for medical and personal use of marijuana. In some countries like France, Romania, Australia, India, Macedonia, Puerto Rico, and others, it is legal to use marijuana for medical purposes, but it is illegal to use it for personal usage. Other countries have adopted a policy of decriminalization to make simple possession of marijuana a non-criminal offense while some Asian and Middle Eastern countries have stricter laws where possession for personal use can be penalized with life imprisonment and in some cases even capital punishment.
Here is a list of five countries where you can easily use marijuana for personal consumption and using marijuana would not send you to the gallows.
